SPORTS FOR CHILDREN

Sports for Children-Skating, Karate, Football, Handball

January 18th, 19th & 25th , 2020

Basketball is the sport of kings,
From the toss to the buzzer rings

As always you have to try your best,
Once you do you’ll beat all the rest.

If you want to win, never lose hope,
When there is a problem, learn to cope.

Take your shots with confidence,
Never think of any incompetence

Jump up for a rebound with all your might,
Don’t ever do it in a state of fright.

Ask for help when you’re in need,
For if you don’t, you’ll never succeed.

If I had the funds, I would have put around the playground today inspiring poems on sports, pictures of the best players of the games, inspiring stories of players… I was sitting there at Hiranandani Foundation School grounds as the children played and the walls around came live in my imagination with all these…

Dreams apart, Rotary Club of Bombay Powai’s first week of Powaifest20 Sports Events started on January 18.
